“The Midland's Art Deco design makes it an unmistakable landmark on Morecambe's beachfront, offering a stylish stay near the Lake District; dining, however, appears inconsistent, and some may find the food overpriced. With its history and seaside locale, The Midland appeals, though potential visitors should weigh dining feedback alongside the hotel's strengths.”

Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
The Midland Hotel's art deco architecture is often praised, and its spacious rooms with sea views are a highlight for many. Some rooms feature balconies, and the suites boast huge wrap-around decks, some even including a hot tub. While some guests have mentioned that the exterior shows wear from its seaside location, the interior is generally considered well-maintained; food is tasty and reasonably priced, with options ranging from fish and chips to venison.

the room offered excellent views and great ventilation with its full height sliding doors i found the staff very helpful and courteous they provided good quality food for both dinner and breakfast. i really appreciate that the location gave really good views across the bay
i was disappointed with the pub decor it didn't quite fit the art deco style of the building i noticed too many condiments in the art deco bar it made the area look like a caff. also i observed that the building needs a lick of paint
